The $100 Million Mansion in Nevada

The $100 Million Mansion in Nevada
The name of the house – Tranquility – becomes even more meaningful when you learn that it hasn’t been disturbed in four years, since it first went on sale for a whooping $100 million. So why this exorbitant price? Located in Zephyr Cove, Nevada, the mansion is set on a 210 acres property near Lake Tahoe.
It was built ten years ago by Joel Horovitz, the cofounder of Tommy Hilfiger and it features a stunning list of amenities.
A replica of the Titanic staircase, an indoor swimming pool, an art studio, an NBA-regulations basketball court, flooring from a 17th century French chateau, a wine cellar for 3,200 bottles, a garage capable of sheltering 16 cars, a boathouse and a horse stable, all these and more are on that list. But even so, the house couldn’t find a new owner all these years. Could it be because of the steep price?
